Functions:
- Highly versed in chemistry, reactions, and deep understanding of sucrose esters related to food additives emulsifiers.
- Highly curious and strong determination and drive to pursue the mysteries in chemical processes and enjoy succeeding with results.
- Highly skilled and solid experience in HPLC & GC systems in the laboratory and ability to develop new test methods and do general maintenance.
- Develop and refine the process from R&D to scaling up challenges and will possibly be part of the greater Quality Team and its activities, to gain in-house process experience.
- Highly proficient in the knowledge of in-quality processes and strong technical ability in innovations and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering and strong experience developing reactions, and testing with oils & fats and sucrose. Some working experience in the laboratory will be useful, however, more importantly, a highly curious mind of a scientist, and a strong chemistry knowledge and/or emulsifiers, will be advantageous.
- Loves the mysteries of chemistry and must have a great passion in a laboratory environment, R&D research, and a high curiosity nature to work hands-on to test and refine the process.
- Some knowledge of Halal, Kosher, ISO procedures, FSSC, and RSPO will be an advantage, and the ability to build Quality Systems.
- Role has huge growth aspects, depending on the individual’s development and ability to grow with the organisation.
