A-IT Software Services has been a successful player in development outsourcing for Financial Services IT for 30 years.
We are looking for a new accounting executive who will manage all accounting and finance matters of the company.
Responsibilities
- Handle the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, P&L statements and taxes.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile / analyze financial statements (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end etc) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Examining bank statements and process reconcile, handle employee expenses reports, payroll administration and accounting, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare quarterly GST returns, tax computation and handle tax queries from the tax authority
- Prepare audit & tax schedules & liaise with auditors and tax agent.
- Liaising on corporate secretarial matters and other external counterparts such as bank and accounting firm.
- Prepare financial statements for a few investment properties companies, including GST returns, tax computations and handling tax queries
- Assist in any other finance-related matters as required
- To assist the set-up of new joint ventures, managed & participate in all day-to-day accounting operations including billings, A/R, A/P & GL
Requirements
- Holds professional accounting qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of accounting experience
- Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (must have working knowledge of Sage accounting package)
- Independent and self-driven with high level of initiative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates who can start immediate/within short notice preferred.
