About our client: Our client is a sub-contractor company specializing in Structural and Architectural works.
About the role:
- Formulating and updating safety policies and procedures in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act requirements
- Ensuring that safety policies are communicated effectively to all employees
- Identifying and assessing potential hazards in the workplace
- Conducting regular risk assessments and recommending measures to mitigate identified risks Providing safety training to employees on a regular basis
- Conducting orientation programs for new employees to familiarize them with safety protocols
- Performing regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify safety hazards
- Conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine the root causes
- Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings Keeping abreast of changes in safety regulations in Singapore
- Ensuring that the company remains in compliance with WSH acts
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned which is necessary for the execution of the project
About you:
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
- Possess valid MOM registered WSHO, NEA registered ECO and PUB Registered ECMO license
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSHO in building and civil construction preferably in HDB, Condo, School and Factory
- Good knowledge and understanding of government regulation pertaining to Occupational Safety Health and Environment
- Crisis management capability
- Good communication skills and team player
