Responsibilities
Reception consumables and components:
- To receive packages and ensure that they are not damaged prior to receiving
- Verification that the order and delivery forms are compliant (order number, product reference, quantity, etc.)
- Visually control quality and check the conformity of the discharge documents
- Sign documents linked to the reception
- In case of disagreement or absence of compliance documents and material’s airworthiness (certificate, serial number,..), to open and write a note of non-compliance
- Transmit spare parts to the shop
- Perform launching transaction in ERP system
Launching transaction on ERP:
- Verification that the order and delivery forms are compliant (order number, product reference, quantity, etc.)
- Verification of the state of the pieces as described in the documents (after having opened the packages)
- Register equipment’s information
- Manage reusable packaging (customer’s property) and computer record it
- Transmit and drop off the piece to the expected workshop by shuttle, delivery or outsourcing.
Distribution (consumable, tooling, ingredients)
- Manage equipment requests
- Check compliance of all pieces entering the shop (requests, serial number, etc.)
- Manage stocks: storage, expiry, supplies, Rotating inventories.
- Respect quality procedures (expiry dates, FIFO principles, etc.) related to his field
- Manage piece requests from shop planning priority
- Physical and computerised outing of the pieces: Picking, Crossdock for pieces in stock
- Distribution at the shop for tooling, or frequently used products (oil, grease, solvent…) and small consumable items such as brushes plugs, etc.
- Material that has not been used will be returned and stowed
Shipment:
- Conditioning of diverse equipment in appropriate packagings according to the customer’s requirements (military material, packagings belonging to customers, etc.)
- Identify and isolate packages queuing to fulfil administrative procedures such as customs/transit paperwork before shipping
- Establish delivery forms
- Declare transportation of hazardous materials IATA (Air Cargo) and ADR (Road transport)
- Delivery to transporters of the packages as well as all accompanying documents
- Loading and unloading
- Register information in computer systems (expeditor details)
- Manage replenishment of supplies (bubbles, cardboard boxes, etc.)
Job Requirements
- GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent
- 2 years experience in logistics environment
- Dangerous Goods Regulations Certificate is a plus
