Responsible for sourcing, evaluation and procurement of supplies
Source for appropriate products and services with the best possible pricing and payment terms
Issue Request for Quotation to suppliers for new items
Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
Liaise with suppliers on changes to orders and confirmation of orders
Process and verify delivery orders and invoices
Perform regular stock take
Maintain and upkeep inventory control
Calculate costs and prepare cost analysis
Provide support for special projects
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
Preferably with prior experience in similar role in Chinese restaurant
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to speak and write Mandarin/Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleagues and suppliers
Team player who is able to work independently
Meticulous with an eye for details
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to multi-task and handle high volume of work in fast paced environment
