- Initiate ongoing departmental projects to automate daily tasks which include the calculations for income distributions and the daily income account reconciliation.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations through analyzing receipts and disbursements, verifying accuracy, and researching and resolving any reconciling factors.
- Compile and analyze financial data used to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, document business transactions, and complete reconciliations.
- Develop and coordinate accounting and finance departments financial reporting function, ERP system and internal control processes.
- Review monthly close packages including detail calculation of incentive and management fees, investor income allocations, expense accruals.
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Working in collaboration with Internal Auditor, External Auditors, and other Accountants.
- Making payments to various service providers.
- Preparing and updating account payables and receivables.
- Managing financial records in compliance with tax and accounting laws.
- Preparing financial reports and presenting it to the higher management
- CPF, and IRAS Annual income tax (AIS) Submission.
- Monitoring & updating of employee’s benefits & attendance monitoring, medical leave, annual leave, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience working as an Accounting Officer or a similar position in the Accounting Department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Outstanding understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity working with accounting software such as Tally ERP, Excel forte V4.0 & V5.0, Quick Books, GEP.
- Experience in Charted Accountant firm is Mandatory.
