Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Team and Work Management

  • Work with a team of highly engaged and inspired members, delivering at optimum potential.
  • Manage team members, putting into practice a fair and balanced distribution of workload while ensuring campaigns are run smoothly.
  • Manage work allocation, deconflicting of priorities and remove blockers.
  • Manage finances, budgeting, etc.
  • End-to-end management of vendors and budgets.

Content Creation & Campaign Management

  • Develop and oversee communications for senior leaders including but not limited to crafting speeches, scripts and decks, planning of relevant communications efforts and creating compelling storyboards on behalf of the CIO/COO office and beyond.
  • Deliver content including slides, blog posts and articles that reflect the senior management strategy and thoughts. Independently work with stakeholders across the bank, to suggest story formats and convert them into articles, create material for employee townhalls and conferences, copywrite for Technology communication channels and newsletter and copyedit for awards submissions.
  • Establish an internal communications strategy for Technology, demonstrating deep understanding of the company’s goals and values. Oversee, plan, execute and deliver end-to-end Technology internal marketing campaigns and event-based communications.
  • Review, draft and govern Technology content that is published and showcased externally.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to conceptualise and create microsites, including content creation such as videos and write-ups.
  • Build and maintain a repository of collaterals that can be shared with internal and external audiences.
  • Co-manage Technology digital communication platforms, including planning to publishing social media content, taking an end-to-end approach.
  • Identify different and new ways of marketing and profiling our technology, leaders and world-class innovations and initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to enhance the team’s value offering.
  • Responsible for campaign strategies and oversight to deliver successful results.
  • Improve campaign performance through analytics and a deep understanding of the available levers internally.

Event Management and Outreach Initiatives

  • Conceptualise, develop and deliver a people strategy focused on the development, engagement and wellbeing for our Technology employees. Strike a fine balance of alignment across all units and markets whilst enabling autonomy for execution.
  • Design, develop and roll out programmes that bring to life the people strategy. Plan and execute end-to-end on engagement initiatives, key events and townhalls.
  • Plan, oversee and execute end-to-end on engagement initiatives, key events and townhalls.
  • Work with and guide team members on building and utilising existing and new channels for maximum impact – both through creatives and messaging.
  • Focus on seamless execution and maximum participation for all events.

Requirements

  • Internal communications professional with 8-10 years of experience who has led corporates to effectively cascade group messages and deliver campaigns that engage employees.
  • Adept at collaborating and managing multiple stakeholders. Able to understand business priorities and effectively build campaigns that can drive results.
  • Experience in working in the intense work environments of a Public Relations/Communications firm, managing multiple deliverables/campaigns effortlessly.
  • Experienced in designing & running large scale events, involving senior management, is preferred.
  • Experienced at working in a banking / financial institution set-up is preferred.
  • With a proven flair for writing corporate and consumer pieces that create interest and drive curiosity amongst readers.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multistage projects across multiple functions.
  • Confident in managing stakeholders at the most senior levels.
