Job Description
- Responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations
- Responsible for running day-to-day operations at a business and guiding general business strategy
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
- Training low-level managers and staff
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Review performance of staff and counsel/discipline when required
- Work with Sales & Marketing Team on Branding & Marketing Strategic Planning
- Work with Management Team on Business development Projects and Planning
- Learn and assist on the company’s “capital mechanism” process
- Provide and engage external resources (expertise) for professional services as and when required
- In addition, you shall be responsible for discharging the duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.
Requirement
- Must have 3 years and above experience as a Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Pro-active in engaging with team members
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Leadership Skills preferred
