About IHRP and Professional Practices & Community
The Institute for Human Resources Professionals (IHRP) was established to professionalise and strengthen HR practice in Singapore. IHRP sets the benchmark standards of excellence for HR and human capital development in organisations. Through a range of national human capital programmes such as the IHRP Certification, Job Redesign Center of Excellence, Human Capital Diagnostics Tool and IHRP Knowledge Partner Programme, IHRP aims to develop HR as a strategic enabler of business and workforce transformation and foster a vibrant HR services eco-system to drive innovation and change.
The Professional Practices & Community (PP&C) team, which you will be a part of, defines the standards of professional ethics, mindsets and competencies in HR professionals at various levels and promotes progressive and inclusive practices that inspire public trust and confidence in the HR profession.
The following are the key areas in scope for the PP&C team:
- BoC, JR & JE and HCDT – Develop and maintain frameworks for the Body of Competencies (BoC), Job Redesign (JR) & Job Evaluation (JE), and the Human Capital Diagnostic Tool (HCDT)
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – Develop and maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) framework, Human Capital (HC) playbooks/tools/platforms, content and programming to uplift HR capabilities
- Community Engagement – Establish a close-knit community to reinforce a sense of belonging for the HR community and develop advocacy strategies to enhance HR’s standing in the industry
- International Partnerships – Establish and maintain partnerships with international HR professional bodies (e.g. CIPD UK, AHRI Australia and SHRM US), enabling IHRP’s standing as an internationally recognised authority of HR
- Content & Thought Leadership – Develop IHRP branded content and undertake/partner on research studies to develop HR thought leadership publications
About the role:
Currently, we're on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join us on a 6 month contract, bringing their motivation and skills to our team
Location: Lifelong Learning Institute, 11 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408601
Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)
You will support the Head of Job Redesign Centre of Expertise (JR COE) to set up and operationalise the new centre. The JR-COE seeks to grow JR expertise locally and to equip enterprises with job redesign capabilities to further spur industry/business transformation efforts.
Your job scope would entail:
JR COE Operations & Administration
- Support the new centre’s operations (e.g. in areas such as tracking KPIs & monitoring progress of enterprises, as well as overseeing the management of the JE database and platform)
- Manage the administrative (i.e. scheduling & query handling) and data management/tracking activities for the programme management JR COE programme
- Support with the marketing campaign and launch of the JR COE
- Manage and prepare reporting for Playbooks download
JR Thought Leadership
- Support the research on emerging JR perspectives and best practices, for broader enterprise sharing
- Support the development of JR and JE resources, tools and template, including marketing collateral to promote JR and JE
Capability Development
- Manage the prep and planning of the JR capability development workshops, as well as other outreach activities to drive awareness and enterprise adoption for JR and JE
Requirements
Education and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications and preferably with a minimum 2 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Consulting, Business, Human Resource)
- Experience with conducting research and tracking/analysing data is preferred
- Proficient in Excel such as vLookup, Pivot, etc
- Proficient in data visualization is an added advantage
