We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Central Kitchen Manager to oversee our central kitchen operations. As the Central Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our central kitchen facility, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing daily food production, ensuring smooth operations in the central kitchen.
- In-charge of job scheduling and assignment of resources for daily production.
- Developing and implementing SOPs to ensure consistency in operations.
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
- Ensures the quality and quantity of products produced meet the business requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Implement compliance with high standards of QA & QC, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Implement and maintain kitchen policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism.
- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
- Manage budget and expenses effectively to meet financial targets.
Qualifications
- Min Diploma/Degree certification from culinary school is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and central kitchen operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
