Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure Updates on Plant Process Safety and Manage (MHI) Safety Case in accordance with MHI Regulations.
- Supervise and Control the Budget and Expenditure for ESH, authorize the procurement of consumables and equipment.
- Ensure Compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Stakeholder Requirements such as provide support for major shutdown activities, maintain the legal register for compliance monitoring, coordinate and monitor annual assessments (stacks, IHM, Noise assessments), organize health assessments for employees and ead EAI and Risk assessment programs for process-related modifications.
- Manage ESH Related Work Procedure / SOP & Handle ad hoc tasks.
- Handle Communication with Internal and External Stakeholders on ESH Matters, engage with authorities for licensing regimes and modifications related to hazardous substances and conduct incident investigations and report non-conformances to authorities
- Supervise and Coordinate all ESH training within the Company, external and internal.
- Responsible for Staff Development and Training to Ensure Optimal Competency by conducting regular coaching and feedback sessions and monitor employee performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in ESH / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Level C WSH competency certification.
- Certified in confined space assessor / WAH Assessor.
- Certified in Biz Safe level 2.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
- Experience in vendor management and ISO management.
- Experience liaising with government authorities.
- People management skills to achieve Section’s KPIs.
- Knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and EAI assessments.
- Ability to lead accident investigations.
- Working knowledge of ACTA framework.
- Passionate about WSH requirements.
