Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial activities and ensure the financial health and sustainability of our organization. The Finance Director will be responsible for strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management. They will play a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against targets.
Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and GAAP.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management and the board of directors.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize the company's financial performance.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure adequate funding for operations and growth initiatives.
Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and financing options.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans that drive business growth and profitability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
