Assistant Accountant (APAC)
The role reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, APAC, with responsibilities including compiling and analyzing management reports for the weekly cash flow report, regional month-end consolidation close process, and other financial reporting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end consolidation close process for Best Estimates and Actuals, involving tasks such as data loading and validation, posting consolidation journals, and preparing management reports.
- Review country inputs, including addressing queries on missing information and significant variances during the close process.
- Compile and analyze management reports for the weekly cash flow report.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and the annual budgeting exercise.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business disciplines.
- 2 years of relevant experience with an accounting diploma/degree/ACCA.
- Meticulous nature and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Preferred experience with SAP.
- Knowledge of Lucernex, HFM, and Hyperion (Essbase) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
