Income’s Actuarial team aims to create exponential value and cultivates a dynamic learning culture. We are a strong partner in enterprise-wide digitization and data initiatives, and we are looking for a manager for the IFRS17 team. This role will be an integral team member within the IFRS17 team in the Actuarial Department to deliver the enterprise-wide IFRS17 project.
Reponsibilities:
- Implementation, managing and setting up of actuarial processes for IFRS17 project
- Delivery of project deliverables, track progress and escalation of risks
- Develop solutions for IFS17 financial reporting including datalake, accounting systems solutions & actuarial modelling
- Analysing IFRS17 results and building new capabilities for sensitivity reporting
- Opportunity to learn, develop and apply actuarial expertise in the new accounting standard
- This role will provide you the opportunity to lead initiatives within Actuarial and be exposed to Chief Actuary and Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science
- 5 to 9 years of work experience in actuarial function, preferably in financial reporting
- Good progress in actuarial exams
- Strong in project management and able to communicate in simple and concise way to stakeholders
- Technical, sensitive to details and ability to apply critical thinking
- Adaptable and open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
- Proficient in Prophet & Alteryx would be an advantage
