Property Description: The Hotel is a distinguished 500+ room property located in the heart of Singapore, catering to an upscale clientele. Featuring an all-day dining restaurant and moderately sized function facilities, the Hotel is designed to host a range of events, from business conferences to social gatherings.


Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hotelier to lead our prestigious hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in upscale hotel management. As the face of our hotel, the General Manager will uphold our reputation for excellence and ensure the delivery of unparalleled service and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring seamless functionality and superior guest experiences.

• Direct all hotel departments, including guest services, housekeeping, sales & marketing, revenue management, finance, and human resources.

• Elevate and maintain the highest standards of service, addressing guest concerns with empathy and efficiency.

• Engage in strategic planning and financial management to achieve optimal occupancy rates and profitability.

• Foster a culture of excellence among staff through training, mentorship, and performance management.

• Ensure flawless execution of VIP visits and stays.

• Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations pertinent to hotel operations, including health and safety standards.

• Maintain impeccable dining standards in coordination with the culinary team and F&B management.

• Coordinate with the events team to manage and enhance the hotel's function facilities and offerings.

• Actively engage with the local community, tourism boards, and hospitality industry groups to strategically position the hotel in the market.


Qualifications:


• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in hotel management, with at least 5 years in an Executive Committee or Hotel Manager role for upscale hotels.

• Master or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management is preferred.

• Proven experience in catering to high-profile guests including Royal Family visits and Head of State and Govt. delegates and managing prestigious events.

• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer service.

• Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing revenue.

• Strong understanding and respect for cultural sensitivity, especially in the context of Singapore's multicultural environment.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with additional languages being an asset.

• Proficiency/understanding of hotel management software systems and technology.
