· West area (might be required to travel locally to other distribution centres
· Working hours: 8.15am to 5.35pm (5 days work week)
· Analyse, improve the process and systems within the supply chain, in a way that fosters collaboration, communication and continuous improvement to optimize the entire supply chain process.
· Design, implement, and/or improve operational processes to integrate automation processes / technology into the operations.
· To articulate practical recommendations for business requirements and demonstrating an ability to address pain points & issues at a high level.
· Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects to ensure successful implementations by understanding stakeholders' requirements and vendor capabilities.
· Review automation project progress and vendor performance to ensure our automation strategy is well implemented.
· Drives innovation from ideation to realization for process improvements, including definition and deployment of automation/technology roadmaps, budget of project, and developing implementation plans.
· To provide industry insights related to automation trends, challenges & market opportunity, identifying how the company's products/services may bring value to existing or potential external customers.
· Coach and lead direct report to support and develop automation solutions/projects, provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance.
Qualifications
· Prior knowledge and minimum 8 years of hands-on experience related to warehousing solutions and/or automation design and implementation, industrial engineering and/or supply chain operations management in e-commerce and/or consulting environment.
· Bachelor's Degree in Business/Operations Management/Industrial Engineering/ Automation or any other related profession.
· Possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain.
· Experience in product management with the ability to integrate technical solutions into an operational environment to ensure a sustainable solution.
· Ability to manage a few projects simultaneously within tight timeline.
· Prior hands-on experience in modelling/simulation tool is desirable.
· Experience with time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies.
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical mindset and skills, with the ability to convert analysis into business insights for decision making.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders from different hierarchy levels with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.
· Direct people management experience.
