- I am currently working with a Medical Device new entrant to the Singapore who are looking for a R&D Director to oversee their new product pipeline.
- This isn’t a role involving the management of a large R&D organisation but actually focused on working in partnership with local institutions to see where there is the potential for collaboration.
- The agreements with the institutions are in place, so you will be offering support to founders in the development of their products, less hands-on design and more advisory.
The R&D Director will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage a diverse team in developing medical device products, ensuring they meet design, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Create and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines to achieve project goals and milestones effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate technical, regulatory, and market challenges for successful product development and commercialization.
The R&D Director will be responsible for:
- Relevant R&D management experience in the medical device industry, demonstrating successful product development and commercialization.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485, with a track record of compliance.
- Degree qualified in Engineering or related field.
