Due to Val-Technik’s plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant/Operator. You will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for maintaining the overall efficiency and organization of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as assisting with inventory management and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate should be reliable, physically fit, and possess excellent organizational skills.
You will report to the Senior Executive Business Administration.
What will you do?
- Assist in receiving goods, inspect goods to ensure that the goods received are of good quality.
- Assist in unloading and unpacking incoming shipments, carefully handling, and storing items in designated areas.
- Conducting regular inventory checks, maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with stock replenishment.
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and labeling products according to delivery order/packing list.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that storage racks are free from obstructions.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow standard operating procedures to minimize workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures.
- Prepare delivery orders and invoices and arrange deliveries.
- You may have to perform ad-hoc duties whenever required.
What should I bring?
- Nitec/diploma in Inventory Management, Logistic or Engineering.
- Able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Proactiveness and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit to work in a warehouse environment.
- Candidates with forklift licenses (preferred).
- Fluency in English; other languages are assets.
