The Job
- Review and ensure accuracy of customer drawings before task commencement.
- Utilize Mastercam for geometric design layouts, with proficiency in FeatureCam as an advantage.
- Actively engage in improvement projects to enhance processes.
- Develop and adjust programs for improved efficiency, ensuring backups on the server.
- Determine optimal machining parameters, including speeds, tools, and fixtures.
- Conduct thorough investigations into machining defects, supporting vendors with technical issues as needed.
The Talent
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering required.
- Broad understanding of machine tools, metalworks, and safety protocols.
- At least 4 years of programming experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in milling and turning processes.
- Strong computer programming skills, including algebra, trigonometry, and physics.
- Excellent literacy, communication, and attention to detail; organized and capable of independent work.
