Company Overview: Polowetry Pte Ltd is a multinational textile and garments trading company. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, taxation matters, and administrative tasks. The person will ensure compliance for both the Singapore and Hong Kong entities.
Responsibilities:
- Full Set of Accounts: Manage and maintain the full set of accounts for the company, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Taxation: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely. Provide tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative matters related to finance and accounting functions. This may include invoice processing, expense management, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Audit Support: Assist in the coordination and preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore and Hong Kong tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in handling full sets of accounts and taxation for Singapore and Hong Kong entities is highly desirable.
