Role & Responsibility
- Configure and install various display devices and software applications (e.g., Signage, Hotel TV) on the devices.
- Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrades on existing systems.
- Deploy programs and assess user feedback.
- Collaborate closely with other Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to comprehend customer systems, diagnose issues, and introduce new features.
- Perform system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability.
- Install and set up network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Work with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures
- Document troubleshooting reports
- Provide network engineering support and training to fellow team members.
- Understand the software development process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the display industry or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Demonstrated work experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role within the Engineering department.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and collaborating within teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas frequently.
- Work experience as a SW engineer or SW developer (Java, Linux, SQL)
