Master Hairstylist /Hair Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION: -

As the Hair Salon Manager at V Cuts Hair Salon, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of salon operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of talented hairstylists and support staff while driving business growth and maintaining the salon's reputation as a premier destination for hair care.

V Cuts Hair Salon is currently seeking skilled Master Hairstylist / Hair Consultant to provide exceptional saloon services in a professional atmosphere.

As V Cuts Hair Salon Master Hairstylist / Hair Consultant, you are the most technically advanced and constantly educatedhairdressing expert, committed to positively enriching our team and clients. Exceed clients’ needs and expectations by providing individualized services and treatments

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -

1. Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff.
   Schedule staff shifts, manage performance, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
   Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
2. Customer Service:Greet clients warmly, assess their needs, and ensure a personalized salon experience.
   Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
   Maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the salon to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Operations Management:Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including opening and closing procedures, appointment scheduling, and inventory management.
   Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the salon.
   Implement efficient systems and processes to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
4. Marketing and Sales:Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
   Promote salon services, products, and special promotions through various channels, including social media, email, and local advertising.
   Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to drive revenue growth.
5. Must have 6-8 years of hairdressing experience in Indian precision haircut, Hair Colouring and styling.
6. Able to communicate in English is a MUST. Preference will be given to candidates who can speak English along with one or
7. more other languages (Tamil, Malay).
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible for the overall operations and business results of the Saloon.
9. Acts as an expert in hair analysis is informed and educated in correlating saloon retail product offerings.
10. Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with clients and to ensure client satisfaction.
11. Ensure saloon regulations: appearance, update, cleanliness and sanitation.
12. Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
13. Must provide training needs for the team and access training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and
14. techniques for the team.
15. Actively participate in advance training or ongoing education in the latest fashion and trend.
16. Ability to excel in an environment that sets goals, tracks progress, and strives for growth.
17. Strong professional presentation, technical ability, relationship building and communication skill.
18. Adhere to saloon policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.

SELECTION CRITERIA: -

Selection Criteria applies to candidates applying via online or via internal recommendation:

1. Relevant work (Hair Saloon) experience of 6-8 years.
2. Must have experience in Indian Precision Haircut, Hair Colouring and styling.
3. Knowledge of chemicals for hairstyles including colouring agents and solutions that change hair texture.
4. Ability to communicate in English. Preference to be given to candidates who can speak English along with one or more
5. other languages (Tamil, Malay).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible for the overall operations and business results of the Saloon
7. Previous experience in salon management or a related supervisory role.
8. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
9. Knowledge of hair care services, products, and trends.
10. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
