Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:
System Analyst / Production Support
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services
- Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT services
- Manage change request, service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are met
- Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet system objectives
- Review post production issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures;
- Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches
- Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in IT or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in both Unix and Windows environment
- Experience in incident management, problem management, release management, root cause analysis and deployment
- Understand SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams and vendors
- Knowledge of web languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript); familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS, WebSphere Application Server)
- Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technology
- Certification or formal training in ITIL will be an added advantage
