Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage the existing Banana Accounting Software
* Prepare and Consolidate the organisation's budget, analyse and compare actual cost with the approved budget.
* Manage cash flow of receipts and disbursement according to approved budget. This includes bank transactions and reconciliation of bank statements.
* Prepare and analyse annual and interim Financial Statements; and internal and audit schedules including reportorial requirements for internal and statutory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
* Ensure safekeeping of accounting, administrative records, etc.
* Other tasks as required/needed.
Qualifications/Competence Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree.
* Relevant work experience an advantage
* Computer literate; hands on experience with accounting software (Banana Accounting software is an advantage)
* Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
* Self-started with high degree of initiative and motivation.
* Able to work independently.
* Result oriented with good communication skills and thrives under pressure and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
