- Participate and / or lead in key IT projects and operations to ensure proper Network Infrastructure, Security setup and administration.
- Administer company's overall Network Infrastructure including routers, switches, load balancer and other network devices to meet the organization's requirements.
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, SSL/TLS, access control lists (ACLs) to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Ensure availability, reliability stability, and security of the Network Infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, hardening and hardware upgrades to ensure optimal network operation.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential security threats. Provide support and respond promptly to network emergencies or security incidents.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network infrastructure, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal downtime in the event of a disaster or network outage.
- Assess the security posture of cloud environments (Azure, Alibaba Cloud, etc.) and implement security controls to mitigate risks.
- Implement security measures and best practices for securing cloud-based services to secure cloud workloads and data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.
- Relevant Professional Certification, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience providing network operational and administration supporting Routers, Switches, WLAN and Network Security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies like TCP/IP, VLANS, VPNs, OSPF, BGP and routing/switching.
- Proficient with network equipment from vendors like Palo Alto, Checkpoint, TrendMicro, Aruba, and Fortinet.
- Strong Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access controls, SIEM and vulnerability & patch management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Leading IT projects and contributing to project implementations.
- Providing IT Infrastructure 24x7 Support and Standby for Incident calls or service calls.
Professional Background / Added Advantages
- Good experience and knowledge with Windows Server are preferred.
- Good in Network, Systems, Servers Linux, and Virtualisation.
