Overview
This position oversees the development of an integrated simulation system, including digital twin technology, to support factory tasks. Responsibilities include collaborating on use case design, leading system establishment, driving process implementation, and establishing global standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of an integrated simulation system, including a digital twin, to support various factory tasks, from new factory design to factory operation support.
- Collaborate with users to develop detailed use cases, design system utilization scenarios, and define system structures to meet diverse factory requirements.
- Lead the establishment of a simulation modeling and analysis system from a platform perspective, integrating layout design tools, simulation libraries, and system data interoperability.
- Drive the implementation of a new work process utilizing digital twin technology, actively incorporating feedback from overseas plant users to optimize functionality and usability.
- Utilize digital twins to minimize uncertainty in line design changes and operational processes, employing prediction-based systematic tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the establishment of an integrated simulation system that serves as a standard for global factories, leveraging operational verification results to minimize trial and error associated with individual plant implementations.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in developing integrated simulation systems, including digital twins, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in use case development, system utilization scenario design, and system structure design to meet diverse factory requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in simulation modeling and analysis, with experience establishing simulation platforms and integrating layout design tools, simulation libraries, and data interoperability solutions.
- Experience in driving the implementation of new work processes using digital twin technology, with a track record of actively incorporating user feedback to optimize system functionality.
- Proficiency in utilizing digital twins for predictive analysis to minimize uncertainty in line design changes and operational processes.
- Experience in leading the establishment of standardized simulation systems for global factories, utilizing operational verification results to optimize efficiency and minimize trial and error.
