Job Summary:
The Chief Information Officer provides sound technological leadership in all aspects of our business and will be in charge of managing the MIS (Management of Information Systems) team in ASPAC, executing global IT/IS strategy, working closely with the IT Headquarters based in Puteaux (France), and responding efficiently to regional requirements. The CIO is accountable for the IT performance of over 5,000 users across ASPAC and can rely on a team of over 100 professionals.
Reporting to the CFO, ASPAC, the CIO is part of the ASPAC Leadership team, as well as part of the global IT leadership team. The CIO has extensive experience in IT Operations Management and Applications development. We are looking for a sound Business Partner to all functions, used to high stakes discussions with VP / C-Level customers and internal stakeholders, with excellent communications skills to translate technical requirements and constraints into actionable business impacting decisions. E-Commerce experience in a B2B context, and business knowledge of the freight forwarding and contract logistics would be a plus. We are looking for a strong technical leader, with and proven management of large and global teams, in a matrix organization.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop technological aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Help business use technology profitably
• Supervise systems and infrastructure to ensure security, functionality and efficiency
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets and spending to assess technological and application performance
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Provide strategic leadership on systems evolutions such as: Warehouse Management Systems, Data Platform, Process Automation, support functions systems (accounting, payroll and so on)
• Ensure proper application of security standards, maintain 27001 certifications, proactively feedback to CISO on security issues
• Applications include: TMS (CargoWise), WMS (Manhattan WMOS and Streamline), Sun Accounting, BIPO HRMS, Cognos Analytics / TM1 / Tableau & PowerBI / Databricks
Team Management:
• Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Bollore’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
• Ensure team understanding and implementation on Bollore’s Value in daily work behaviors
• Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
• Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
• Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Division
• Ensure all changes in Department / Section socialized properly to the team
QHSE:
• Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
• Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
• Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements
Qualification & Experience:
• Proven experience as a CIO, IT Director or similar leadership role
