Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Vice President, Global Information Systems & Digital Solutions shall be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of organizational information systems, software applications, infrastructure systems, cybersecurity measures, and digital transformation initiatives. The VP will develop and execute IT strategic roadmaps and plans aligned with the organization's vision and objectives, ensuring optimal utilization of technology to support business operations.
As a key executive, the VP will play a leadership role in identifying emerging technologies and integrating them within the organization. They will oversee the development of mission-critical applications and technology solutions to drive long-term organizational goals, providing direction to regional IT teams.
Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the development and execution of IT strategic roadmaps and plans, focusing on building effective, efficient, and secure solutions to provide the organization with a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate closely with global leaders, directors, division heads, and regional operation heads to build strategic partnerships with vendors and leverage conglomerate-wide resources.
• Lead and operate the IT discipline for properties and regional offices, cultivating technology leadership capability, and developing talent through effective succession planning and performance management.
Cybersecurity:
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the organization's digital assets and mitigate cyber threats.
• Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity measures such as threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to cybersecurity.
Infrastructure:
• Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's global IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and implement infrastructure strategies to support business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee the deployment of infrastructure technologies such as networks, servers, and storage systems.
Applications:
• Oversee the development and maintenance of mission-critical software applications to support business operations and digital initiatives.
• Ensure the alignment of application development efforts with business objectives and user requirements.
• Drive innovation in application development processes and technologies to enhance agility and competitiveness.
Digital Transformation
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing to transform business operations and unlock new revenue streams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement digital strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management capacity leading IT strategy and architecture.
• Expert understanding of technology trends, with strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and influencing skills, with the ability to convey technical expertise in layman's terms.
• Dynamic, outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of collaboration and team leadership.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
