Our client, a prominent global data center operator based in Singapore, seeks a skilled Data Centre Solutions Architect to play a vital role in their data center projects throughout the design.
Job Description
As a Solution Architect at Smart Infrastructure, you are part of our pre-sales team. In this role, you will engage with the local regional and global data center operators, consultants, and prospects. You will be responsible to show the value of our products from solutions and services to our prospects and customer base within the ASEAN region. A
- Define technical solutions and act as a Solution Design Architect for data centers.
- Assess sophisticated customer requirements and advise regional teams on solution feasibility, selection, development, effort, and implementation.
- Execute Proof of Concepts with customers.
- Design architectures and apply digital products and solutions.
- Align with Business Units and external consultants/end users to understand project requirements and promote sustainable solutions.
- Craft and deliver project presentations and demonstrations to customers, facilitating workshops to understand their application portfolio and infrastructure landscape.
- Advise data center operators, consultants, and prospects on product and solution usage, running technical deep dive and architecture sessions.
- Create technical documentation (requirements, high- and low-level design documents).
- Scout trends, assess technologies, and deliver new solutions ranging from total building solutions to data analytics.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 10 years of relevant Pre & Post Sales engineering experience.
- Experience in Big Data Analytics and Azure
- Experience in enterprise systems integration and customer-facing consulting.
- Understanding of HVAC Controls, Building Automation, and Energy Efficiency.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems is a plus.
