This is a full-time on-site role for Staff Nurse, taking care of the West Region (Jurong/Choa Chu Kang/Clementi).
Working hours
- Monday - Friday Office Hours
- Saturday Half day (Twice a month)
Responsibilities
- To conduct home visits to provide assessment and nursing care to clients.
- Providing care for both acute and chronic wounds.
- Initiating appropriate wound management for the patients namely negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), conventional dressing and application of 2 and 4 layers compression bandage.
- Educate patient and family members on wound healing process and issues.
- Educate and counsel patient and family members on care of stoma and choosing the appropriate stoma appliances.
- Demonstrate stoma care to the primary caregiver.
- Trainings will be provided, on the job training & observation/shadowing
Requirements
- SNB Registered
- Prior experience in Wound Care / Home Care is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to manage patient care and promote overall health and wellness
