- Designs, plans, and handles testing, commissioning, software programming and supervision on site for BMS on project plan, specifications, and contract documents.
- Analyses plans, specifications, and contract to determine project requirements.
- Prepares submittals containing schematics, descriptions and technical literature as required. Maintains current design documents throughout project duration.
- Prepares engineering re-estimate reports and minimizes report variances.
- Review and align Fire protection design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines (Sprinkler System, Fire Alarm System, Hosereel System, Wet/Dry riser system, Fire Hydrant System, Fire man intercom system)
- Perform testing & commissioning of BMS.
- HVAC experience and sequence of preparation for BMS
- Experience in BMS technical submittals preparation, method of statement, compliance statement and OMM.
- Experience in IO point schedules, assignments, and materials selection with value engineering.
- To monitor and supervise subcontractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material, and samples.
- To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
- Manage and execute project as per the schedule.
- To attend meeting with contractors to address issues and update progress.
- Study and reviewing of drawings, specifications for compliance.
- Allocate work to supervisors and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards.
- Plan and lead testing and commissioning of the fire protection systems.
- Follow up with site / authority inspections, defects rectifications of the fire protection work.
- Plan and prepare OMM, training, As-Builts drawings for handing over of completed fire protection systems to client.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electronics Engineering
- At least 10 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in MS office and MS Projects
- Good communication and written skills
- Project Management experience in both Fire and BMS Projects
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
