R&D Motion Control Engineer
Work Location: Yishun Industrial Park A [Canberra MRT] / Have company transport
Salary: Up to 5k
Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm
Role:
The Motion Control R&D Engineer will be involved in the development, sustaining and localization for some automation projects. The candidate will also be required to support Sales/Service/Product Management’s request in product customization, to be in-line with SIPLACE system design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement motion control algorithm for embedded system according to the development process to meet the project requirements, goals and objective.
- Support necessary function tests and software interface-level related module tests
- Work closely with R&D HQ in Munich to meet project requirement, goals and objectives.
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the development process.
- Developing new ideas and new technology to improve our products and add value to our customers.
- Continuous improvement of development process.
Requirements
- Degree / Master / PhD in Control / Mechatronics / Electrical or other relevant engineering fields
- Basic knowledge in control theory or application
- Basic knowledge in SIMULINK / MATLAB
- Basic programming skills in C / C++ for embedded system
- Experience in machine or factory automation industry will be an advantage
- Proficiency in motor and driving technology will be an advantage
- Knowledge in system modelling and simulations will be an advantage
