Project Scheduler
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in Subcontractor planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating and scheduling subcontractor activities, particularly in electrical projects. Proficiency in Primavera or similar scheduling software is preferred but not essential. Fluency in Tamil is a plus, as it will facilitate communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage client's schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Coordinate closely with the client's, project managers, and engineers to align schedules with project objectives and client requirements.
- Analyze project timelines and identify critical activities, potential bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor client's performance and progress regularly, providing updates and addressing any deviations from the schedule.
- Proactively identify risks and delays in subcontractor activities and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure coordination and integration of client schedules with overall project plans.
- Conduct regular reviews of client schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to client's on scheduling-related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in subcontractor planning and scheduling within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera is preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to speak in Tamil is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully managing subcontractor schedules and delivering projects on time and within budget.
