What does a Software Engineer do at DNDTS?
You're not just here to write code, but also to figure out what we should be building and how we should build it. You’ll work on maintaining and making improvements to the current systems. Identify potential initiatives and projects that would improve various aspects within the organisation. Establish best practices for developer operations.
On a day to day basis:
- Write, test, and debug code for software applications. Design software architecture and develop technical specifications based on project requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to be used in the development process. Ensure software scalability, reliability, and maintainability through effective architectural decisions.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, understand requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with cross departments in building internal tools to help automate and reduce manual output.
Tech Stack
- Programming Languages: Python, Go, TypeScript, SQL, HTML/CSS.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Vercel, MongoDB Atlas.
- Web Frameworks: React.js, Next.js.
- Other Tools: Docker, GitHub.
- Good to Know: Linux, TailwindCSS, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Tableau/Power BI, NGINX.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience (SWE), 4 years and above of experience (Senior SWE).
- Strong understanding of relevant tech stack.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous, able to work under tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in trading and/ or investment related engineering preferred but not required.
Interview
- 1st Round: Initial call w/ HR (video call)
- 2nd Round: Technical case study + coding test w/ engineering team (in-person)
- 3rd Round: Interview with Managing Director (in-person)
