Responsibilities
Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases and Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Research information needs, consult with users, study system flow, data usage, and work processes, investigate problem areas, and adhere to the software development lifecycle.
Collaborating with external vendors and internal teams to repair and improve products.
Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.
Task automation using scripting and other appropriate tools.
Prepare, install, debug, and analyze solutions per system requirements while making policy changes to improve operations.
Collect, analyze, and summarise information; collaborate with management and other special teams to resolve issues or make changes based on data results.
Document coding project particulars using a standardized process of writing program descriptions, cataloging changes made and recording any special instructions.
Continuous improvement is supported by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
A senior software engineer is typically expected to collaborate with and supervise a team of software engineers who are creating information systems for a website or other software programmes. Knowledge of web coding languages such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is required.
