Location: Millenia Tower (Closest MRT: Promenade)
Working hours: 9am – 6pm, 5 working days
Salary range: up to $4,500 (1-Month Completion Bonus)
Duration of contract: 6-Months (Maternity Cover)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts.
- Perform month end and year end closing procedures including GL adjustments / reclassifications / accruals.
- Assist in ensuring that statutory accounts are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
- Responsible for Treasury and Payroll adjustments interfaces on a timely basis.
- Processing journal entries and ensure all data are accurate and complete.
- Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliation and ensure all intercompany transactions are tallied.
- Process Joint Venture share of profit/loss and maintain schedule.
- Manage the SAP system administration (e.g. make changes to COA/code creation).
- Review and analyse any anomalies to monthly Forex PNL/OPEX against budget and provide variance report.
- Ensure financial statements are fairly represented.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assets accounting (including additions, disposals, transfer and project closure).
- Perform monthly depreciation run in SAP system and prepare monthly reports for Reporting team.
- Responsible for lease accounting (including office, tankages and vessels).
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules.
- Continual effort in identifying areas of improvement to refine financial processes and internal controls to enhance daily activities.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant GL & fixed assets accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel and SAP system
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within tight timelines
