MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure cleanliness of ventilators and other respiratory equipment. This includes:
• Dismantling and packing of reusable respiratory items for cleaning and sterilization.
• Disinfecting and cleaning of ventilator parts.
• General cleaning of ventilator mainframe.
• Reassembly of ventilator parts and circuit.
• Perform pre-use testing on ventilators to ensure function prior to use using a checklist.
• To coordinate with Central Sterile Supply Department for the equipment processing such as cleaning and disinfection, and sterilization of the equipment.
