Laboratory Operations
- At least 7 years of biomedical laboratory knowledge and experience
- At least 7 years quality assurance/management experience
- Lead a team of laboratory technologists to establish the laboratory procedures and processes for new and improving on existing laboratory services, maintaining good turnaround time (TAT) and on-time delivery (OTD)
- Technical knowledge and experience in related fields and in using quality management methods and tools
- Experienced with past records of maintaining the accreditation with The College of American Pathologists
- Understand and compliance with rules, regulations and compliances with the Ministry of Health Singapore and related authorities
Technical Operations
• Lead planning and policy of the laboratory;
• Lead the development, validation and implementation of new lab tests to ensure compliance with various guidelines such as CAP and CLIA;
• Improve on the existing lab process/methods and train/impart Technical knowledge to staffs;
• Access lab instruments/equipment and facility, make recommendation and improvement;
• Ensure that all operations are conducted within clients and recognized industry health and safety regulations.
Quality Assurance
• Establish, support and maintain the Laboratory Quality System;
• Perform routine document control activities;
• Management Representative to coordinate and enforce quality standard certification requirements;
• Ensure all QA requirements and Objectives are met;
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QMS;
• Champion the use of statistical and quality tools throughout the organization;
• Conduct inter-departmental quality audits;
• Provide quality assurance to clients by constantly reviewing their quality needs and implement new strategies as necessary.
