Specific accountabilities assigned to the role of Actuarial Risk Analyst – Pricing within the global actuarial function:
o Partner with underwriting analysts in Singapore/London and assist in preparing submission data into the right format to be uploaded onto the pricing platform
o Work with underwriting analysts/underwriters to investigate any data issues and raise appropriate questions to brokers/clients
o Provide portfolio observations based on submission data to underwriters in the form of an email
o Assist to set up the accounts capturing essential treaty terms in the pricing platform
o Actuarial analyst will gain exposure primarily to International Casualty (Asia, the UK and Europe) in the first year and provide coaching to future interns.
o After becoming more proficient with the pricing platform and tools, analyst will be involved in Property and Speciality treaty pricing.
o Build good working relationships within global actuarial and underwriting community and with claims, cat modelling and finance colleagues.
o Volunteer assistance to support actuarial projects and change initiatives, as appropriate, to develop your skills, knowledge and experience of Aspen.
