Position Summary
Management reporting
- Ensure timely month and year end closing.
- Ensure revenue & expenses accounted are complete and accurate.
- Prepare relevant revenue and expenses variance analysis for management reports.
- Prepare audit schedules.
Group consolidation
- Preparing the annual financial statements of a parent company and its subsidiary entities.
- Liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance to tax and other statutory requirements
- Prepare annual returns and XBRL for group and companies.
- Prepare quarterly GST filing.
- Prepare annual tax returns for group and companies.
Forecasting/budgeting
- Prepare monthly forecasts.
- Prepare annual budgeting.
Accounts payable/receivable function
- Support accounts payable team including operations.
- Support accounts receivable team including operations.
Resolve operational issues and act as a business partner to various business units
- Support business units in finance matters and follow up on queries from both internal and external parties.
Position Requirements
- Degree in accounting or its equivalent.
- ACCA / CPA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Handle full set of accounts including group consolidation
- Conversant in Chinese reading and writing will be advantageous in order to liaise with Chinese speaking associates and China HQ office.
