Job Description
- Increase revenue and foster good relationship with existing clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Generate new leads via cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationship with existing and new clientele.
- Regularly follow up with clients to promote upselling and enhance retention.
- Effectively communicate with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes to pickup/delivery and potential service disruptions.
- Report customer issues to management.
- Good regular customer account in hand to secure business.
- Active participation in the end-to-end sales process involving proposal/quotation/BAF notice/ Rate Negotiation / Closing spot Ad hoc rates
- Build all channels to generate sales pipelines and long-term customer relationships to foster revenue generation and growth opportunities
- Have extensive professional knowledge in Air and Sea Freight
- In depth knowledge in Import and Export, LCL and FCL Shipping
- Experience with Customs Declaration including all types of permit declaration
- Experience in handling customs matters
- Knowledge of Project Handling and Chartering will be advantages.
Requirements
- Have three to five years of relevant work experience
- Familiar with customs laws and regulations
- Skilled in the business of commodity classification, customs value determination, origin determination, etc Skilled in the operation of various trade terms. Experience in import and export of used equipment.
- Familiar with main logistics routes, skilled in the operation of sea, land, air, railway transport, understand the industry situation of major shipping companies, airlines, railway operators, etc.
- Have strong coordination and communication skills, certain data analysis capabilities, patience, meticulousness, proactive service awareness and teamwork spirit, and good execution and professionalism.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, be able to withstand a certain amount of work pressure.
