The Role
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the adoption and utilization of our Retail Analytics platform. The key responsibilities are as below:
- Data Validation
- Perform regular data validation to ensure alignment between the platform data and our internal data
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate data accuracy and platform functionality before new module launch
- Platform Adoption, Support, and Category Management
- Assist in driving the adoption of the Retail Analytics platform within retail banners
- Support supervisor to provide training sessions and share best practices to ensure effective utilization of the platform
- Collaborate with banner teams to understand their specific needs and provide tailored support using self-service tools and ad hoc analysis
- Leverage customer data to drive commercial and operational decision-making in the areas of category management, including range planning, pricing, and promotion planning
- Feedback Collection and Platform Enhancement
- Act as a liaison between the retail banners and the development team, capturing feedback on platform capabilities, performance, and usability
- Document enhancement requirements based on user feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform
- Ad-hoc Analytical Support
- Offer ad-hoc analytical support to retail banner teams, addressing business questions that fall outside the scope of the Retail Analytics platform
- Utilize various analytical techniques and tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Data Science, and/or any relevant field
- Proficient in SQL
- Knowledge and/or experience in statistical customer analysis in FMCG is a plus
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively train and support retail banner teams
- Familiar with self-service analytics tools and advanced analytics techniques
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
