JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide training and guidance to in-house staff on Safety Work Procedures (SWP), Method Of Statement (MOS) & Risk Assessment (RA).
- Servicing, maintenance of construction equipment / machinery.
- Technical support such as connection/troubleshooting of control panels to drive units of equipment / machinery.
- Guidance and training on documents preparation and proper recording and checklist for equipment / machinery.
- Guidance and training to Supervisor on Co-ordination between site, lorry, main con, stores & office to ensure smooth operations.
- Educate and ensure workers follow Safety Work Procedures (SWP), Method Of Statement (MOS) & Risk Assessment (RA).
- Guidance and training to Supervisor on conducting of Tool Box Meeting.
- To provide guidance and training to installers.
- To educate workers to comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) includes legal requirements, certification and registration, monitoring and surveillance, accident reporting and work injury compensation. Understand your WSH obligations for improving safety at the workplace.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: -
- Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
- Construction & Safety related qualification
- Training Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Positive working attitude will also be considered
- Able to work independent as well as a good leader guiding new supervisors and workers
- Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality of information

A trainer / facilitator and assessor of this course should possess all the following:
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health;
• At least 5 years of working experience as a supervisor / foreman / safety personnel in the construction industry;
• Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or Diploma in Adult Continuing Education (DACE) or Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).; AND
• Work- At- Height (WAH) for Supervisors or WSQ Manage Work At Height
