FP&A Manager / Senior FP&A Analyst

cbs APAC is a subsidiary of cbs, a leading international consultancy headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. From our APAC offices, we support organisations in domestic and international implementation projects by delivering high-end quality solutions and technology services to large industrial corporations running SAP.

We are looking for a FP&A Manager / Senior FP&A Analyst who is passionate growing with cbs in the APAC region. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will assist the Managing Directors in APAC, being an integral part of the global finance organisation responsible for the correctness of the financial figures of the regional subsidiaries in the APAC region.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

You focus on following tasks:

  • In close collaboration with the global finance organisation, prepare financial figures for regular management and statutory reports
  • Review and analyse the services rendered to be charged to clients
  • Provide timely ad-hoc reports to support agile decision-making by the MDs
  • Act as the focal point for budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
  • Support Project Managers of cbs APAC handling budgeted projects (fix price, T&M) by providing accurate figures for project profitability calculation
  • Monitor and control operating costs and capital expenditure

In addition, you will support the global finance organisation to:

  • Ensure correctness of regional P&Ls, Balance Sheets etc.
  • Review and update documentation regularly (e. g. transfer pricing etc.)
  • Liaise with bankers on treasury matters, analyse cashflows and monitor funding requirements
  • Liaise with auditors, corporate secretary and tax agents


Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • At least 3 years of related accounting, controlling or PMO experience ideally in the IT service industry
  • Hands-on SAP knowledge and experience is preferred (SAP FICO, BW)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge; proficient in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • General understanding of bookkeeping and tax matters; ideally familiar with General Accounting Rules in Germany (HGB)
  • Understanding of both Singaporean and Malaysian accounting practises and tax laws are an added advantage
  • Eloquent and fluent in English (verbal and written), good business conversational skills in German will be an added advantage
