Job Description :
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor daily progress, track materials and equipment usage, and prepare progress reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all workers on site
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, addressing them promptly and effectively
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Collaborate with the project team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Manage and supervise construction workers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, inspections, and incident reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure project objectives are met
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with construction software and tools for project management and reporting is a plus
- A relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred
