Job Description
- Ensure smooth and safe facility operations, focusing on steam system and auxiliaries.
- Monitor plant status through control systems, including BMS and distributed control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
- Lead boiler and plant operators in compliance with treatment processes and emission limits.
- Identify optimization opportunities and support implementation of approved tasks.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for plant operations and maintenance.
- Analyze and report on steam operations data and plant performance regularly.
- Respond to plant upsets and equipment malfunctions swiftly.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and testing for safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs in CMMS for equipment safety.
- Monitor facilities for hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety Act compliance.
- Fulfill additional duties assigned by the site manager.
- Holds a Class 2 Steam Engineer registration with MOM.
- Proficient in FMEA, HAZAOP, and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies.
- Possess strong interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Registered First-Aider Certification is advantageous.
- Exhibit a strong safety mindset and adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.
