Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director to lead our engineering team in delivering high-quality products and services efficiently. This role involves overseeing engineering delivery, process execution, quality assurance, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Delivery and Process Execution:
- Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Define and implement engineering guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee process execution to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement testing and quality assurance protocols to ensure high standards.
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring they are mitigated promptly.
- Project Management:
- Create and maintain detailed project plans and documentation.
- Develop technical designs and specifications in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team and Budget Management:
- Manage and mentor the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Ensure alignment of engineering activities with business objectives and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven 10 years experience as a Director or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
