We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our company’s finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing and verifying invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial issues.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments and receivables are up-to-date.
- Help prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Provide support during audits by supplying requested documentation and information.
Requirements:
- Certifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NAV, BC) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
