This position would act as a central point of contact and accountability for the Global Markets platform and to support all levels of business initiatives. The main objective of the middle office analyst is to ensure accountability and transparency in the trading process. The analyst will also be responsible for the establishment and management of a strong control environment through the implementation of new business initiatives and the validation of FX, credit, equities and other derivatives transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage intra-day and EOD controls covering FX, credit, equities, and derivatives activity in the fast-paced global markets.
- Manage implementation of new processes in line with business initiatives.
- Close liaison with post trade services, trading, sales globally to resolve issues and minimize financial impact.
- Verification of life-cycle decisions across the portfolio in real-time as barriers triggers and expiry/call decisions are made.
- Validation of new trades – both vanilla deals and structured products in the risk system.
- Daily and intra-day reconciliation across all books to ensure that positions are accurate.
- Monitor and respond to queries from sales, trading, and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure that all activities and transactions are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal operational risk framework and all relevant policies and standards.
Experiences:
- 3-5 years’ experience within an operational role with related experience in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives of FX transaction management
- 3-5 years’ experience focused on control from an operational or finance perspective with an emphasis on efficiency
- Prior work experience involving direct interaction with traders/front office

- Basic VBA knowledge
- Python proficiency is an advantage

- Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills
