We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes using digital technologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting new product introductions. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, and a passion for leveraging digital tools for process optimization.
Job Responsibilities
· Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes utilizing digital technologies and data analytics to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
· Conduct comprehensive process analysis leveraging data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and enhance quality, throughput, and yield.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Quality) to support the integration of digital technologies into new product introductions and existing manufacturing processes.
· Evaluate and select appropriate digital manufacturing tools and technologies to improve process capabilities and efficiency.
· Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process-related issues using digital modeling and simulation techniques.
· Design and execute experiments (DOE) using digital twin technology to validate process changes and improvements before implementation.
· Create and maintain digital manufacturing documentation including virtual work instructions, digital SOPs, and real-time process monitoring dashboards.
· Provide technical support to production teams for the adoption and utilization of digital tools and technologies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
· Drive initiatives related to Industry 4.0 principles, leveraging IoT and smart manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement.
· Stay current with industry trends and advancements in digital manufacturing technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced environment, with a focus on digital manufacturing technologies.
· Strong knowledge of traditional manufacturing processes complemented by expertise in digital tools and technologies.
· Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) incorporating digital techniques.
· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross functional team environment.
· Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
